i have almost 2 grand just in rims. about 3500 just in chrome parts. ontop of engine mods and what not... very fast 1000cc bike.. probably with engine mods around 1200cc. very quick about 215mph topspeed.

i had it at 190 (fast as speed-o says) at 9k rpm. and i took it up to 11k that was at around 3am on the interstate with nobody around.

2K in wheels...they are just chrome wheels bro...if you paid 2K for stock chrome wheels then i know why you want $6200 and $3500 in chrome parts...i think you need to provide paperwork to confirm that statement as well...and as far as the top speed being 215 seriously doubt that...quite the bullshit...the bike is old, ugly, but clean with chrome, and over priced...put the bitch on e-bay and cut your losses

There is no possible way for it to be close to a 1200cc bike. Period. The big bore kit for that bike takes it to 1072cc. You couldn't be running a stage 1 jet kit and have the bike run worth a crap if it was a big bore. You obviously don't know shit about bike engines.

Stock horsepower at the rear wheel in stock trim is about 125. With your listed mods, you can probably push that number up to about 135.

Your dry weight should be around 475lbs, and wet weight should be just over 500lbs - a lot heavier than a stock 2000 R1 (and newer ones are even lighter).

Top speed on that bike was 165 (maybe with gearing and your mods, you might get 170 on a good day). So without the hand of God himself pushing you along, you aren't going to get close to 190mph. I call BS.

There is no way in hell that bike can do 215. It doesn't have the aerodynamics nor power to do it.

It's a good bike, but live in reality. It's not faster than a new 1000.
