    Default Paint chiping

I got my del sol painted not to long ago at the Duluth location and the paints chiping in places, I have a 7 year warrenty and I'm wandering when i should bring my car back up, and if they even sanded my car before they painted. The color my car was before is showing up under the chiped away paint.

Yeah I'm positive I got my Sol painted at the Duluth shop, and I think on the brochure the 7 year warrenty is on chiping and fadeing. I can't drive at this point in time, but my question is will it be fixed, when i do come up there. Can I take pictures and send them to you? My car is still black underneath my white paint.

hope so to, especially with all the negative publicity and bashing your doing to a sponsor of this site!!

My question is: Couldn't you go speak with them and give them a chance to fix it?

I'm not bashing a sponcer, All I'm saying is that I don't feel like they did a quality job for the money I spent. I'm going to get in contact with the owner but as of right now I'm inable to drive up to Duluth so I'm waiting it out for now. I'm not bashing spayglo, I had alot of work done from them to my car and I'm happy with it all It's just the paint that didn"t come out as great. I know how hard a color change on a vehicle is that's why I'm hopeing they will stick with this seven year warrenty and work with me to fix it. That's all I'm saying.

It seemed like it to me at first, the idea that "sprayglo sucks" and not the "didn't do a great job"

But rereading it after sleeping following 3 days of studying/working/partying without closing my eyes; your right, he isn't bashing but "not good quality service" is not right..

The service is the whole picture, that means the initial work + the post-sale customer service + etc.. I feel like this could of been resolved over the phone, in person or through pm's.. If they fix it then straight but if sprayglo refused to fix it or don't stand behind their work & warranty, then start this thread.. regardless this whole deal isn't going to be resolved on here, but instead in person or over phone/pm.. so my point is that this thread serves no purpose and gives sprayglo bad publicity..

I agree with you. I do need to call them and get this resolved, I haven't had the time. My schedule is very busy myself. I'm not using this thread to complain or to knock Sprayglo. I think they are a very reputable company. All I'm using this thread for is to let IA now what happend to my car. It seems that more and more people are having this problem so basically I'm using this thread to see who else is having the same problem I am, and that Sprayglo should keep a closer watch over their employees and what they are doing in their shop.

I think it is a subtle attempt. He should have contacted SprayGlo first to work out the "problems" BEFORE posting about it on here. Give them a chance to redeem themselves BEFORE you automatically put them on the defensive. Shouldn't put someone on the spot like this. Only when talks have failed to your satisfaction should you publicly announce this. That's just how I see it. Later, QD.

Bashing or not, by posting a problem in the open, you look like you're bashing. Without trying to resolve this between them and you first, you are trying to let people know of their fucc up. Let them fix it before you "find out if anybody else had the same problem." Then you can post that there was a problem and that they took care of it. Instead of you looking like you're bashing them, you can make it look as though they took care of business the way a company should after a problem. Later, QD.
