MY 2004 DODGE NEON SRT-4 HAD A VERY STRANGE ISSUE .. EVERYTIME IT WOULD RAIN MY ENGINE WOULD SPUTTER AND QUIT RUNNING. I TOOK IT TO 3 DIFFERENT DELARSHIPS SPENT OVER $1200.00 IN JUST TRYING TO TROUBLESHOOT THIS ISSUE. I WAS THINKING IT WAS A BAD 3 BAR FUEL MAP SENSOR ... SO I CHANGED IT AND LOW AND BEHOLD AS SOON AS IT RAINED..IT QUIT RUNNING. I TOOK IT TO MAINSTREAM THEY SAID IT WAS MY D-TEC BOX GETTING WET BECAUSE IT WAS INSTALLED IN THE OPEN NEXT TO MY ECU ... JAMES RELOCATED IT AND TUNED MY SRT AND IT SEEMED TO RUN OK ..UNTIL IT RAINED ...THEN IT HAPPENED AGAIN. SO JAMES AND CHARLES CAME OUT TO MY HOUSE AND PICKED MY CAR UP ....TOOK IT BACK TO THERE SHOP AND UNINSTALLED THE D-TEC ALL TOGETHER. IT RAN FINE AFTER THAT ..RAIN OR SHINE. FINAL THOUGHT --- IF YOU INSTALL OR HAVE A D-TEC INSTALLED PLEASE REQUEST THAT IT BE INSTALLED SOMEWHERE TO WHERE IT WONT GET WET. JUST GOT MY 2009 CIVIC SI I WILL BE HEADED TO MAINSTREAM NEXT WEEK FOR SOME UPGRADES
