downpipe back, downpipes usually stop at the oil pan.

he would need to see what you're using for the pipe ran to halfway under the car. if it's something janky then it'll need to be replaced/re-done. middle of the car is only about a foot past the downpipe and would be just a little shorter than a cat-back...only a little less material, but the same amount of labor.
