    Default Question about tuning

    Hi, I have a problem (nice way to start out huh?) I have an LS/vtec that I finished putting together a month or two ago, and I'm running it on a GSR base map. I have been trying to get some time off to come over there to get tuned, but its tough being the only manager with no one to fill in for me. That being said, how bad is it that I am driving on the GSR base map? I don't know when I will be able to get over there before you guys close since I get off at 5pm and its a long drive from Cumming to mainstream. But, you guys are the only ones I want to tune my car. I might not be able to get a day of for another month or two. Will I be fine?
    Anyone can drive fast in a straight line. I want to carve corners.

    If you are running stock injectors, and not beating on the car too bad, you should be fine.(depending on compression ratio). If you have some crazy all motor build then I recommend getting tuned asap, if its fairly stock, just be easy on it...

    Also Scotty likes to tune on sat/sun also if that is better for you.

    If I could get a tune on saturday or sunday that would be awesome. I talked with him on the phone several months back when I was contemplating wither to chip my ecu or not. I did not get the impression that he worked after hours let alone on weekends so I didn't ask. I have a modest 10.4:1 compression, I/H/E combo. So its mostly stock for an LS/vtec.

    Yes, most of scotty tuning is on weekends now, or later at night. (after 5pm usually,as he has another job). So give him a call and set something up. Hes easy to work with... minus the fact he goes on vacation every other day!!

    Thanks Scott!!! My car runs beautifully now. I love the smooth power and throttle response. Just everything about the engine is better now. I'll definately be back after some future upgrades.

    what did it make and scotty i ll be back soon with a new setup and a electronic boost controller so hopefully i see a big difference from last time
