    i have a 1988 honda civic sedan stripped down, what all would i need to do a d16y8 swap? (exclude engine and transmission)

    Convert to multipoint, if it wasnt already. hopefully your going to stick with the cable tranny so you dont have to convert cable-hydro. You could probably fun that off an obd0 si ecu, or convert to obd1. If i think of anything else ill let you know.

    i would recommend the z6 over the y8 if you ever think of boosting it. convert to obd1 using the boomslang harness and obd1 ecu (chipped if you're going to mod the engine).
