my itr motor is BONE STOCK.

i have a greddy 18g kit running 10psi all day long.

the kit has been on the car for over two years and i don't know how many thousands of miles.

it was tuned by scttydb411 and i've been very pleased with it.

just about everyone i know with this setup or similar makes anywhere between 270-350whp, so it's all about the tuning.

kaden, read a little closer to what he wrote, greddy 18g (b18 motors) turbo kit, This is a street legal turbo kit, won't make as much power as garret, precision, etc. I know, I've ran a greddy kit before. If you want a real build, then you will need to break down the motor and rebuild for boost, unless you're planning to stay around 7-10psi daily making shit power and my little eg comes around and spanks you with all motor.

Why search honda-tech, I can tell you right now. Boosting a ITR motor is mostly pointless because its already built w/higher compression, thats why people would prefer to just boost a b18c1 due to its compression 10:1 or so. Second, black R setup ran for 2 years but doesn't means yours will, why? because HIGH COMP AND BOOST don't mix, I have plenty of experience, I've helped boost nang's car on here, azianhustla, and more. With this kit, 7-10psi and tuning will be fine for daily I believe but no where near the power you wanna make. You could just run JUN 3's, BC Spec 3+, Skunk2 PRO's and run the same plus reliability. These will put you over 200whp with good tuning and that would be enough to run boosted cars. How do I know this? Ask DYNO, Jay's brother (yellow s2k), dyno was running jun3's in his 4dr teg and was killing boosted cars on the street. Mr. Kidd that works at batlground can vouch for dyno's car. If you know what I'm talkin about, then you know his 4dr.

So you rather listen too someone who has never boosted a type R motor, ask AnotheRRR his stock motor was boosted for 2 years making well over 350hp, with ac and heat and all. Stock type r motor have been boosted alot of times and made great power.
I would listen too someone who has done and owns a type R motor, over someone that is taking infor based off the internet.

Shit i would turbo the stock motor and if it blows then rebuild it,why just go tear down a good motor becasue you taking advice from someone!!
    Thats just my point!!!

Here you can see for your self what people have made on stock blocks

thanks for your input but that was a waste of a post.

I said that because black R told him to go do research instead of helping him out. I believe thats why they have these forums on this board so that members can help each other out instead of just saying "go google it." I'm also explaining to him the obvious, tell me people wouldn't rather go get a b18c1 longblock and boost it instead of boosting an ITR (not saying no one does it).
