Default VOLK - Wheels & Refinishing

A good friend of mine brought these wheels to me which he mentioned used to belong to a female driver lol. All of the wheels had curb rash, and one had a very large gouge in the metal about 1" long and 2mm deep. These were a nice set of Volk wheels in it's former life and it was my job to bring them back to life.

All of the wheels were curbed nearly all the way around like this...So sad

    Gouge Welded Over

Next series of images show the work that went into each wheel. The gouge is gone and you can't even tell where the large gouge was!

These were 2-piece wheels and the air was released from the tires prior. I'm unsure if you can do this to a 3-piece wheel. But either way I will have to say proceed with caution and at your own risk. O_o
