Default Kizuna Kustomz - 2007 C6 'Vette Headlights

I was contacted by a customer about working on a set of halos for his Corvette. He told me that many people don't try to attempt to open up Corvette headlights, due to the fact that they are much more difficult.

I have done many headlights modifications in the past, and this one has to be one of the toughest set of headlights out there! From the factory they use a different type of glue to assemble these, and I have read that it resembles windshield adhesive.

While regular headlights may take 1-3 hours to open. These headlights actually took about 5-7 hours. This includes taking apart the old lens and removing old sealant which was necessary for these headlights.

Please do not attempt this yourself...but if you do...fair warning is that you will need a new set of lenses to go with them.

The customer pre-purchased a new set of lenses to re-seal onto the headlights once the halo modification was done.

    PICTURE TIME

Tearing it up! Excuse the iPhone pic. It gets better I promise! The old lens looks worn and tired anyways. So good thing we have new ones!

Cleaned up the projectors while I was in there as a courtesy...Look at the difference!

Halos installed, preliminary check of fitment and placement of inverter. New lens installed making the headlight look brand new.

    Sealing it back up!

    Lights...Camera...Hotness!

And of course here is a night shot. These are bright! These halos are in the 6K flavor. I can get almost any color. Just ask
