It has been an interesting week. Found a crack in the block of the Integra at the bottom of the water jacket so after a few attempts to weld the block in the car I spent all day Saturday removing it, welding it, and reinstalling everything. This morning I got to work early and finished up the little stuff I needed to do as far as safety and some wiring. I finally put my 24.5 inch slicks on the car and with the added weight of the turbo and H Series powerplant I let the lift down and the fender was on the tire. I ended up changing that spring to get the necessary clearance. We rolled out to SDR and I got teched in and tried to make a pass but had a fuel leak at the rail which we fixed in the staging lane. Went back to the water box, did my burnout and it was go time. I staged the car and launched it, it felt pretty good so I stayed in it. I knew that it was a good pass. Got my ticket and it showed a 10.58 @ 136.5. I let the engine cool down and made some changes to the tune up and fixed a few minor things and ran a 10.47 @ 139.85. The car is on wastegate and that was a pump gas tune up so hopefully I will have a chance for some tuning this week and get back to Silver Dollar Raceway Friday. Thanks to everyone who has helped me get the car changed over from the single slam to the H23 and get the roll cage done also!
