GOOD: Ok, lets be honest, this is a 20 year old 260K Mile Honda. Its NOT PERFECT. If youre looking for the mint condition DEL SOL , this is NOT IT. However, I have driven this car 50 miles every day with ZERO problems. The car runs great, starts up EVERYTIME. Windows roll up and down, body is DECENT for its age (it has the typical honda red paint fade). As a reliable Point A to Point B car, its PERFECT.
BAD: Again, 20 year old HONDA. This stuff isnt BAD or WRONG, its just indicative of a car with a quarter million miles.
-Top Rattles, Typical of 93/94 Honda Del Sols, the top rattles. Its an easy Fix, i just never got around to doing it. Takes 3 washers. Its fine at highway and city driving, I live in downtown though so its noticeable when you hit a pothole. Doesnt effect anything except its a minor annoyance
-Car burns MINOR oil. I have to add a 1/2 quart of oil about every 3000 miles. This is TYPICAL of ANY high mileage honda (car) in general. I drive it very leisurely, this isnt a race car. Im sure if you tach it out to 7500 everyday, it would be worse.
-AC is there, just needs to be charged, with the mild summer we have had, I just havent been motivated to do it.
-Car rides stiffer than stock. Indicative of sleeve type coilovers. Not terrible, again, i drive in downtown Atlanta so I drive in the worst conditions possible, but it does ride stiffer than the stock suspension.
This car is really for that high school, early college kid, looking for a DD that they can put some MINOR work in. Its a cheap reliable car, that can go another 100k easily. Timing Belt and WP has been replaced. NEW TIRES (less than 2 months old). New wheels (the black wheels pictured).
