Reason for Sale:
Long story short, this car was going to be passed down from my brother to his daughter who is now 12. We decided it was better to just sell it now and look for something else when she becomes of age.
Engine and Maintenance: The car has had regular oil changes every 3000 miles and transmission every 30,000 miles with no issues. For those of you who know Voung from IA, he did the most recent work on this car which is listed below. I ordered all parts OEM from Hondapartsunlimited and have receipts.
- 3/14/2010 Tune-Up with the following done: air filter, spark plugs, timing belt, distributor cap rotor, fuel filter, water pump, front brake pads, transmission fluid, oil change.
- 7/25/2011 the check engine light came on and diagnosed to be the O2 sensor which was also done by Voung.
Modifications:
DC Sports header. Clifford Alarm. Side Markers. CD Player.
Exterior:
Body has definitely seen better days as you can see from the pictures. I have included close up pictures of all areas that have body issues. The most major one being the rear quarter panel that was scraped/dented pretty badly from an incident while trying to take the car out the garage (don’t ask). Also, the back bumper isn’t secured tightly as also shown from the picture. The next is the picture which shows the scratches in the paint on the right side of the car. And obviously the paint is 12 years old. Missing front H emblem. Window tint on driver ripping.
Interior:
Seats and interior is clean in my opinion (needs a good vacuum though) with the exception of the sunroof which has some slashes as shown in pics. Also, there is a picture that shows the driver door panel not secure to the car. Easy fix but I just don’t have the motivation and time to do it.
Background:
To try to make this short, this car was my original car brand new. I later gave it to my older brother when I got something else. It was later given to my nieces mom, for her to hold until she became of age, and she had it for maybe 2-3 months basically just sitting in her garage. She gave it back to me to sell.
Bad:
- Paint/Body (everything bad on the paint/body can basically be seen from pictures)
- Door Panel not Secure
- Window tint on driver side ripping
- No H emblem on front
- Sunroof piece has slashes
