95 Honda Civic EX, Auto trans.
Cranks up and runs perfect when dry and not humid.. give it a bit of a humidity and it takes a while to start. By taking a while as in I have to leave it in the "ON" position for a few minutes before ECU/main relay/fuel pump and other essentials start working, but once on it runs perfectly fine as if nothing happened.
I have replaced main relay, checked all fuses, checked all grounds, inspected ECU for any micro cracks in the solder, cleaned all connections from the interior fuse box to the radiator fan and re-soldered the ignition switch terminals. After all this it still has the same problem but it only acts up after a hard rain or when its extremely humid.
One thing I have noticed though is when it does act up I am able to change gears without the pressing the brake which seems like whatever is causing the problem is linked to the shift interlock somehow...
Sorry if I'm vague but this is my daily car and generally I would fix everything myself but my schedule is too wrapped to actually spend an entire day figuring this out
ANY help would be appreciated!![]()
