Default Steering wheel swap: airbag issue

I got a RSX steering wheel and Im having a little problem:

That's the left side. The right side aligns just fine, no issues, and I actually was able to screw it in with no problem. How much can I "finesse" the tab/bracket? If I use a screw driver I can get the hole to line up, but then I'd be screwing the screw in with pre-load.

Drill out the tab. Don't stretch it.

D3UC3S - Thanks for the advice, but I looked at other RSX airbag pictures and noticed the "angled bracket" on my airbag wasn't supposed to be angled at all. lol

I grew a pair and bent the bracket back straight, problem solved.
