    Default CRX problem.

Alright, so a week or two ago, replaced my fuel pump, it ran good up until a few days ago, and when I was driving it started spitting and sputterin g, then the car shut off, Tried cranking it back up, nothing, kept trying, nothing. Gave it a minute, it cranked back up, and idled good, stuck it in first, let off the clutch and it would die everytime without moving much, so its pretty much impossibl e to drive as it sits. But I did notice that it runs just fine in reverse, have not checked the other gears though. My initial thought was the clutch, but that would have nothing to do with it having a hard time starting back up would it? I replaced the main relay, it did nothing. BUT randomly the Code 16 Error will flash, and then go away again. Its a 90 crx with a B18A1, I really hope you guys have some input, need this thing working my thursday night for work.

code 16 should be an injector fault code IIRC. If your system still utilizes an injector driver module, id try replacing that first. it would also be a good idea to check the fuel pressure at idle and hook up some noid lights on the injectors to make sure they are firing properly. But thats just my personal thoughts on it.

Same thing happened to me in my 89 civic hatch,,, I took off injectors and cleaned them, and while I was there I did a full tune up and with distributor coil and spark plugs and worked perfect again.
