Car started on 1st try w/o any cranking issues, I just don't get it! Makes it hard to diagnose the problem when its starts up w/o a problem!

My del sol did this for a while, then took a shit. It ended up being the ecu. Try to get your hands on another ecu and try it out. If it still acts up, you know its not the computer. It will save a lot of headache and $$!!

    Conformer.

I havent left that out yet but im kinda leading towards it being my ignition coil but am taking everything into consideration because its an intermitting problem, yesterday after i started the car for the 1st time of the day it started right up! But when i started it up the 2nd time it took 3 times for it to start! Then the rest of the day while out christmas shopping with my wife it started w/o any hesitation!

That's what I'm thinking but I can't test it until it starts acting retarded & not starting can I, that's what sucks....

Turns out I've got a "Bad Battery". Holds charge & starts the car fine but the crank amps aren't stong enough to crank it at random times!
