Default HELP: 97' Integra LS OEM CD Player Code

Okay so I bought a 97' Acura Integra LS all Stock/Unmolested.... Problem is previous owner replaced the Battery & the OEM CD Player now reads err-3 (error code 3).....

Now from my research about a solution on getting it working again, heres what i found out about what all do I need to obtain the code & is this correct:

    - Serial # off Radio
    - VIN # of the Car
    - Proof of Ownership
    - Then call my local Honda Dealership

Is that what I've got to do or will the actual code be somewhere on the back of the radio by the Serial #???

Or if you may know the code I need lmk & I will upload the serial # tomorrow so I can get my radio working again, just lmk IA.

You are right. Just read off the serial number and honda can tell you the code. Then write it down. i had to do that with one of my civic stock decks.
