O2 sensor question
Ok IA, I need some help onece again. Here's the rundown. I've got a 95 integra with a 96 gsr swap integra it. (Obd1 car, obd2 motor) everything is wired for obd1. The entire exhaust is from my old 96 gsr. So the cat has spots for 2 o2 sensors. I've been using the one closest to the front. I've been looking to replace the o2 sensor but when I look for one I find both upstream and downstream. Now I'm questioning if I'm even using the correct sensor and which one i need to purchase. Also I'm replacing due to a CEL 43 (fuel supply system). If I'm gonna throw parts at it, I figured id do the cheaper and easier installs.

The answer is simple:
Buy the o2 that matches the year car the ECU came from. If youre using an OBD1 ECU, buy the o2 from the OBD1 car. If youre using the 96+ exhaust, you will need to block off the REAR o2 since the OBD1 ecu won't monitor the catalytic converter and won't need the rear 02.
Also, if you've somehow got the obd2 o2 sensor wired in, that can cause the problem. When doing year/obd conversions, use the harness & sensors that MATCH the ECU.

Cool that helps a lot, so its the upstream o2 that I need. As far as the other o2, I left an old sensor (not wired up) in it to serve as a plug. Preciate it man.
