Question em1 idle air control system

So my em1 started throwing codes a few months ago for idle problems. i replace the TPS and the IACV with brand new parts. i also cleaned out the intake manifold cleaned the intake tube and got a new air filter. It keeps throwing a code now for "idle air control system". There is air in coolant and it bubbles out if you run the car with the radiator cap off, every now and then the idle will just up between 1,500 and 2000, and when you take off from a stop the engine sort of sputters, like you are tapping the gas peddle pretty rapidly and when you shift its very rough, but if you turn the car off and back on its fine. other times it just wants to idle high with out the sputters. i have tried to let it bubble out but after 3 hours i gave up.
so basically what exactly does the code mean is wrong, and will draining and replacing the coolant fix it?

Convert to OBD1. Taadahhhh. I did it on my EM1 and never had that problem again. Or you could do what I did, leave a code scanner plugged up and clear the code every time it comes up.. lmfao.

Also are you bleeding the radiator with the heat on full blast? If not not try that.

Pull the TB off, on the bottom you have whats called a fast idle valve.. Remove the cover and see if the plunger is broke, or loose! If loose then tighten it up with a flat head, if broke, then replace it..

if your lost, then get some real help.. Its easy to check, just not easy with TB still in on the intake in the car..

    p.s

Look for the small coolant hoses running into the TB, that is what you need to get off..

Edit: other checks consist of checking for vaccum leaks on the intake, TB.. (carb cleaner works great) spray and listen for engine to change tone!

remember I have no idea what you have done to the car before, I can only give my advise!
