    Default B18c1 rattle noise HELP

I replaced the headgasket and put everything to spec
the car doesnt run hot nor smoke
    idles smooth
but while I'm giving gas I hear a rattle noise sounds like driver side of the engine
    im really not for sure?
could it be that my timing belt is a little loose???
also another issue while I'm cruising in 5th gear I go to let off gas and don't clutch it
feels like the motor jumps are hesitate then I press the gas kinda jerky at the start
    Any help??

    Its your rattle can exhaust..
It's not the speed that kill's its the sudden stop at the end.

you deserved a troll. there is no telling where the rattling is coming from. you will need a friend, or at least someone capable of pressing the gas pedal with the car running for yourself to listen for the noise inside the engine bay.

trouble shooting 101. up close and personal.

as far as the hesitation goes, check voltage on your o2 sensor, may be getting time to replace.

Bearing makes a crazy sound, get a clip.. I'll know if it's the tensioner or not.

    Thanks for the input
I found out had the timing too advance
    Making valves rattle a little
I redid the timing the motor is running perfect with no sounds
    Thanks again!

low oil pressure in head, restrictor missing or oil pump failing. Failing Lost motion assembly would be the best outcome as well.
