    Default B20/vtec.........vtec won't work.....

    So I did my head swap 2 days ago and today wired vtec..... Took a tes drive vtec work for a few miles ....then stopes....

    .I have a p28
    Every thing is wired rite
    Tried 2 vtec solenoids. That work .
    Tryed another ecu that's works.
    No cel . Wire vtec to a push button solenoid clicks but no vtec .....any body have any idea what's wrong...lmk thanks. Have plenty of oil and I'm using a b20z bottom end with b16 head.

    VTEC solenoid screen clean? dents in oil pan? Possibly oil pump?

    Starting to think oil pump gonna do oil pressure tes tomorrow and screen is clean and no dents in oil pan.

    check to see if the plug is all the way in!, and also check the oil levels!!!! and be sure that screen is clean

    it can be a number of things. clogged oil line/fittings, improperly drilled/tapped head for vtec, vtec lock mechanism inside the rockers are f&$*% up, insufficient oil pressure (use a pressure gauge to measure), oil too thick, vtec too weak to notice, not enough vtec juice, bad ecu, bad wiring, bad luck, blah blah...you get the point



    ... but IMO i think it is related to your oil lines/fittings or how the head was tapped.

    I wired it to a buttonjus to see if it would kick in and it dident , jus trying everything "........jus don't understand it worked while I took it on test drive now nothing all wires are good screen is clean and I'm using a 6am fitting for oil source and tap off off sending unit ....just don't know. Bout to do the air test and then oil pressure test.

    Common problem people do is leave the shavings in the head, vtec works but then the Shavings start to clog shit up.. Result is lack of oil pressure!

    Changed my oil works now wtf .think oil was too thin
