Default ***FIRST GEN CR-V SWAP OPTIONS...HELP!***

Let me just say that I will be searching and researching for the answers, but I'm REALLY crunched for time, so any help will be greatly appreciated!

    I finally bought a '99 CR-v automatic 2 wheel drive!
Near perfect...except the motor and tranny were stolen.

    What are my swap options?
It has to pass emissions (NO CEL) and stay an automatic!

    I've located a B20z with 80,000 miles, but it is a 5 speed.

Can I use an LS auto tranny?
    - would I need to use the LS ecu?

I'd REALLY like to go GSR with an LS auto tranny.
    - any input?
    Just call me DAD!

i have seen it done, and the best thing i could tell you is that, think of it as a b series swap in a civic. also from what i have seen with swaps, you can use both transmission. just make sure you use the right ecu. oh yea, and you know that you will have to take the 5speed b20 and make it a auto... super easy
