    Default Alternator Cable corroded

    I have a 99 civic with a b16a engine swap and lately my car will shut off after riding on it for like 20 mins. I know it was the alternator so i had it replaced comes out that one didnt help either so i checked the cables the Green cable has corrosion all over it what do i clean it with?

    Any autoparts store will carry a electronics/battery corrosion cleaning solution. Usually there will also be a stiff bristled brush near by. That's all you should need to clean it.

    Hot water will take it off just fine
