    Default I need someones help!

I bought an 89 hatch today for a good price. and one of the main reasons i got it at the price i did was because it wont start. It wont even try to turn over. It has a push start installed that gave no issues at all until one day it just wouldn't crank. but here's the weird part..... i hooked a battery up today and instantly my brake lights were on. any suggestions on where to start looking for issues?

Check for broken plastic under the pedals. This is common in older hondas the plastic bump stop for the brake light switch gets old and breaks, leaving the brake lights on and killing the battery.
