b18b1 hydro 5spd tranny revs all gears but goes nowhere.

Dont sound like a transmission (gear) problem. most of the time, a bad tranny would grind in gear(s) between shift or grind every time its in the bad gear.
take the tranny back off and inspect the clutch disk and pressure plate. if those are damaged, than the tranny will not turn ( acting like its in neutral )

make sure that your axles or in all the way thats what it sound like is wrong to me mine did the same thing and it was my axles
