    Default ef with d16z6 swap

    i have a cel on and it's a 17 which is speed sensor. speedometer works but i can't figure to get rid of the cel, i try new ecu and it'll still pop up the same cel. any help

    i try that already. i reseted and after i drove it for about 20 miles and it pop back up again.

    Have you changed the cluster or anything on the car? The VSS is in the cluster so its either a bad cluster, or a break in the wiring between the cluster and ECU. This is assuming you kept a cable-clutch trans in the car and have a cable speedo.

    Yes I kept the cable tranny and it does have a cable speedo. I haven't try a new cluster yet and it was going to be my next step. I got a crx si cluster laying around but I'll have to do some wiring because 89 si wires is little different from 90-91 si.
