Default Civic prob random check engine light?

I was driving down the highway going about 70 mph and my car started like
Cutting out then go cut out then go
About 2 hr trip it did the same thing may-b 3 times?
    Currently running p30 ecu on a d16y8
Also everyonce and a while I will get a check engine light but I turn the switch then back on it doesn't come on
    Any ideals
Also notice that my vent button light come on sometimes then dont
Also my guage cluster up top around the 50-70 mph is dim then sometimes bright?

thats from your typical eld that is fine

You need to scan for codes just because the light came on and then off the codes still might be there . let us know , btw p30 isn't the best ecu for this little motor . Over time it will hurt the motor .

Your little motor isn't big enough to take the specs of a p30 which fuel air mixtures are way off from what a sohc needs .So this means you could be either running way to rich thus will cause washing of the pistons and bearings . OR a lean mixture which will detonate , most likely it's in the rich mixture as the b16 needs way more fuel then the sohc . ALSO the rev is set way higher then the sohc can rev so watch it or you will blow it up by over reving !!!

I am not saying your motor will blow up now , but it's shortening the life span as we speak .
