Default obd2 b18b1 swap using alot of gas!

i just helped a guy do a swap and the engine was an obd2 b18b1 and was swapped into a 94 eg coupe. it runs good and idles normal but he keeps saying its using a quarter tank of gas in no time! every things looking great only thing i didnt hook up was the evap solenoid on top of the intake. no black smoking and no cel codes at all. running obd1 p75 ecu and obd2 b18b1 engine harness which should be plug n play. so i dont know if its maybe a faulty fpr or just him going from a d16vtec to a b series or what. all i know is mine was obd2 in a 93 hatch and obd2 harness and obd1 p75 and was great on gas and is now a high compression ls vtec and is still great on gas to me! if any one have any input as to why or if it even really is using too much fuel let me know cause im stumped? thanks.

Trip the odometer, fill the car up and see if it hits 240 miles off a full tank.. Don't guess, do the math.. EX models had a 11.9 gal tank..

    SO:

20mpg would be 240 miles to 12 gal.... Understand?

Good Avg would be 21mpg around town, and 25+mpg on the freeway!!

yeah i understand but dealing with customers and getting them to understand is a pain in the ass! they want more power and bigger shit but expect all the other variables to stay the same fuel economy ect..and all that you know?

    more power = more gas

i get better gas with a b series than i did with a d series if i drive it like a gentleman, if i dogg it, yes there is a big difference.

just like a guy saying he needs to get his aliment redone but we called him out, its not the car, its the dumb driver who likes to burn out everywhere.
