    Default will jdm hood fit my usdm front for my 89 ef si

    i just bought a cf jdm hood for my ef hatch ,,,,, the problem is its too long and need to know what i need to make it fit,,,,i have the jdm headlights and corner lights but no core support or bumper.,,,how do i make it fit ,,,,please somebody help i have been looking all day online for help but spme say yes but need the complete jdm front ,,,,,,another thread said that all i have to do is take off my bumper filler and it will fit

    don't believe it is a direct fit.
    You're right - I have no idea what I'm talking about...

    it will fit, but it will not fit properly.. no matter what you do.

    that hood was designed for the jdm front.

    i got it because i THOUGHT the hood and headlights were the same for the ef as they are for a crx ,,,,but obvisously wrong,,
    i bought them for 200 + 70 on gas from the guy in montgomery al,, he posted it on ia in parts for sale ,,,if anybody interested let me know ,,,,but i really want it to fit but
    it has like 3 inches too long it over hangs ,,,cf looks clean but it doesnt open and close right ,,,,

    someone told me that i have to do is put on the usdm front bumper and fenders off a crx and the headlights and hood should line up right ,,,,,basically change my ef frontend to a crx front ,,,
    is it worth doin or just stay without hood

    you can do that, but like i said it will never line up how it is supposed too (unless of course your good with alot of fabricating and doo dads)

    Technically it if is a hatch here is what you need to make the jdm hood fit.

    jdm headlights.
    usdm fenders will work.
    jdm bumper trim panel between headlights and also bumper
    jdm t-bar ( some people use washers on the usdm to make it work) looks rigged in my opinion.

    Can use usdm bumper cause does not affect it.

    If it is a crx then you need

    headlights
    bumper
    tee bar

    If the hood is really long you sure you did not get a sedan hood.

    the jdm hood and headlights is a bit longer than the usdm

    The hood came off a crx,,,,,,okay ima try to find the parts to make it fit,,,,,,thanx rbwdriven best support so far,,,,i was trying to sell but too many low ballers,,,,,,now It an stay
