    Default tach wiring help please

    ok here is what we got...

    i have a 96 civic ex
    engine - is a jdm dohc f20b vtec ( obd2b engine )
    running a obd2a to obd1 jumper harness on a p28 with a h22 map

    now my problem is that everything works great other than i am not getting a tach reading, question is how do i wire this to get the tach to work?

    obd2a engine harness
    obd2b enigine & dizzy
    obd1 ecu

    i have looked and cant seem to find how to do this

    any help please, thanks

    at the dizzy plug, there should be a SOLID blue wire (this is your tach signal).. follow it all through the engine harness through all the plugs and to the cluster and fix any breaks you see. IF it still does not work after fixing all breaks (if any) replace your cluster or replace your ignition coil inside the dizzy

    Hook the solid blue wire at your dizzy to the solid blue wire at the driver shock tower (it has a little remote pickup type deal on it)

    problem solved!!! just in case anyone else has this problem, the using an obd2b dizzy on a obd2a harness the fix is to connect the yel/grn (icm output) wire from the dizzy to the blue wire on the driver side shock tower
