    Default b16 slow rev problem

just put a b16a into a 99 civic, got as tps code, ive tried to check it and the voltage is way high, so i put a new one on it and it does the same thing. but the problem is that it revs really slowly, any opinions as to what else i should be checking or is the tps what would be causing this problem

    They call me Gator...

    flywheel is too heavy

TPS and MAP plugs are incorrect, timing is off, or ECU is bad.. im sure there is a CEL, check it and post the code.

you can, but even a TPS sensor adjusted VERY wrong wont make a car rev THAT slow... only it being backwards or mix-matched plugs would do that.

now that i think about it, im assuming you are going from a D16y7 to a B16? if you are and you are using the original D16y7 engine harness, swap the 2 OUTER wires on the TPS plug... D16y7 throttle bodies use a backwards sensor. Although, if your coming from a D16y8 then disregard what i just posted LOLOL
