Default White steam/ pressure out the valve cover breather

noticed a steam coming out of my valve cover breather,
still idled fine, drove fine and all.

    did a compression check and read 220 220 160 220
could it just be a headgasket on its way out? or rings?

    btw its a stock h22a

Normally a ton of pressure out of the valve cover with a lot of white smoke could be a ringland, but is pull cover and check for moisture

I just noticed the compression numbers, and they're not super low, so I would lean towards checking for moisture/blown headgasket etc.

prob popped ringland or a really blown headgasket in that cylinder.

If its headgasket you should see coolant in the oil.

my vote is you popped a ringland

well, i guess ill have to just take the head of and look.
i figured a ringland would have a lot lower compression than what it is at..

someone noticed the other night that i had the over flow hose plugged with a screw.. idk why i had it like that as i was putting the car together.
so im thinking thats what could have led to the problem with the head gasket. i never checked my oil to see if there was water or anything.

The overflow hose won't cause a blown headgasket. It would overheat first.

The fact there's a 60-80psi difference in that cylinder means something pretty bad is wrong. If to have excess crank case pressure coming out the valve cover, it's a cracked ringland, oil is getting by the rings
