Default 99 accord f23...cut'n out brick loose in cat

Ok i know the cat is bad just got a few question (brick is rattling around.....pretty bad)

Will the brick being loose cut the car off while driving? If u giv it gas aftr it cuts out it will crank back up an run till it wants to do it again....gas issue?? Or just un-choking itself....idk?

Cat has o2 sensor in it, does this mean this o2 sensor requires a cat....so basically if i remove cat an put o2 sensor back in strght pipe will it read right or throw codes?

Another odd thing is when it cuts out right b4 it will shutter an the "maint req" light flashes on.....idk

    150k on motor

Im better on obd1 an hav never had cat issues b4 so dont hav alot of exp. but this all seems to be logical i just wanna get som advice b4 i do anything

    Thanks

If its restricting the flow of exhaust it will definitely shut it off

Fix the cat and see....? Blown cats can raise temps.
