    Bad ECU or wiring issue.

Silversol: the timing belt still good, u mean the rotor inside the distributor yes it spin. Could be a timing jump but would that cause the distributor not giving any spark

That dosent rule out wiring. Its common for unmolested cars to have wiring issues. but im referring to the wiring from the dizzy to the ECU.

First off you need a test light and/or multi-meter.. Pull the cap(dizzy) and check the coil for 12v.. Then back track from there checking for 12v at the plug(2 wire dizzy plug), If no power go under the dash and check the 30amp fuse by the srs(yellow) plug.. 2 fuses there all by them-self.. If those are good check the ground on the thermostat house..

Pretty simple fix, but much harder to explain on a keyboard...LOL

    P.s
don't trust a used or reman dizzy.. worst case find a friend and test your dizzy on his car.

    Hope that helps!!

You are right the ecu is bad. Replace it with the same ecu and I had to reprogram the ecu to work with the keys.
