when putting a new tranny on, have someone turn the crank as you try and line up the tranny. you'll know when its lined up, you'll feel it slip on or pop on. do not, i repeat, DO NOT bolt it on untill you know its lined up!
i cranked a bolt hole/ striped bolt hole by not having the tranny lined up.
