    secret to fitments,,,

    use all oem parts

and you might need a new front bumper because after time the heat will loosen the material your bumper
is made of and cause it to sag....

I already took the old stock filter out out. Yes the D/S was hit I think in an accident before I brought it but the weird thing is that the D/s side fitment is damn rear perfect it the P/S that is off pretty bad. I'm going to try to get some hardcore hardware and see if that will pull it together closer.

    Question:
If i put an Y8 intake on it can i just run my pipe and filter and then i can get rid of the ugly stock box? and do I have to do any mods to make an Y8 intake work on an Y7 motor? meaning does it bolt right up.

first you will need secure nuts and bolts, not zip ties. second, you need to bend your core support UP... and lastly if your trying to get the bumper to sit flat against the fender, it just wont happen without alot of modding because from the factory they come with a special plastic anchor that spaces the bumper about 1/8th an inch.

and Certifit and Egay parts fit just fine if installation and fitment is done properly...

aftermarket parts fit fine if you know what your doing. It looks like your core support is bent on the driver side all the "oem" parts dont matter id they are going on a bent core support.
