    Default 2000 Honda EM1 P1607 code

Just seeing if anyone has had this problem occur on their si. My engine light has been a phantom bastard and clearing itself until today i finally caught it on and hurried to a tester to see what the code was. Says its ECM/PCM problem which i have found replacing the ECU wil fix. I was just wondering if my VAFC Neo was F&cking with my wiring.

If anyone has had a reltaed problem i would like to hear and suggestions before i got grab a new ECU.

If someone needs a mod list for my motor i will provide.

yea replace the ecu. And yes sometime the vafc messed up the ecu. I worked on some cars that did the same thing, just take the vafc off and replace the ecu.

i ran across something about the leaks in the passenger floor board causing the ecu to throw this code due to the connection problem caused by the water. I will be pulling my ecu today and seeing if it is wet. fixing the leak in the a pillar and putting ecu back in to see if it works.
