    Default ls emissions :(

Ok so my ls failed emissions. Only failed on no ppm, both tests. 1746 out of 1258 and 2008 out of 1378.

    Ls block
    Type r pistons
    Stage 2 cams
    Cam gears
    Exhaust.

    In an 88 crx si.

I zeroed out the cam gears and timing on distributor is advanced, it won't really idle if its in the middle. Is there anyway I can manipulate the cams via cam gear timing to make it emission freindly?

retard the ignition timing, it could be the cylinders are too hot.

When I put the distributor timing even to the middle it barely idles (350-500). I was wondering if I could do something with the cam timing to help it out.

Yeah nox, it has a cat, and idk about cam install, they were advanced on intake cam and retarded on exhaust cam, I set. The gears to 0 and now it won't idle unless distributor is fully advanced, I don't understand the cam timign thing. I guess I'm looking for a rough estimate of where to degree the cams so that I can retard the distributor and chug this bitch through emissions lol. Thanks in advance
