Default is this a vacuum problem?

my car usually idles at 1500 rpms, but everymorning when i start it, it revs itself up to 2500, sometimes 3000 rpms until its warmed up. also everymorning on the first start i have to punch the gas to start driving, i guess the pedal gets stuck somehow overnight. i noticed that my boost needle isn't directly on zero (it was before)(car is off in pic).

any ideas on what could be causing the high revving morning idle or sticking gas pedal?
any ideas or suggestions would be helpful.
    thanks in advance.

ok so let me get this straight, on idle it IS DEFINITELY at full vac right? or is it at 0, atmospheric pressure? the OP says "boost gauge is at 0". if you was nearby i would gladly look at the car for you.

aside from that, it could be a bad IACV and the sticking is a dirty throttlebody plate, or someone stuck some bubblegum in there

its at full vac when its warming up. after a few minutes everythings perfectly normal again. i just want to get it fixed because it wastes alot of gas and is ridiculously loud.

    where are you located?

Shit.. When I had a Bad IACV.. my car just wouldnt even idle at first start up.. until it warmed up.

and yea it sounds like you should clean your Throttle body... Also Make sure the TB gasket it good, and the bolts are ALL tight.

thats your fuel pressure, the reading it gives when the car is on is what matters
