i am thinking the knock sensor on this one? i had my codes ran in said malfuntion on cylinder 1 knock sensor.

Have you bleed the air from the coolant system before driving it ?

With the radiator full and cap on get the car warmed up then on the Thermostat housing you will see a Screw thats like a valve.
Open it a little till you see air bubble coming out and once they stop and its just clear water close it.
Hondas have to have the air bleed out of the system or they will run hot.

the upper radiator hose, follow it to the cylinder head, that waterneck has a 12mm bleeder valve, just like a brake bleeder valve just 12mm not 10mm
