What exactly is wrong with the harness? The factory harness doesn't work or the adapter harness doesn't work?

You never answered me back about this. Did you check if it had power first?

check the interior light fuse and the cigerett lighter fuse and the fuse under the hood . There are a few power wires in that harness they cant all be dead get a test light figure out which one has power tie it in to your power wires just to get you going im sure its just a fuse though . Most people look for the radio fuse and there is one but check the other fuses i suggested also i think its the small light fuse or something like that under the hood that normaly gets everybdody .
