Default Mobil 1 Trasmission fluid in Honda/Acura

have anybody use mobil 1fluid in their transmission. Pro or cons on using this beside using the Honda ATF.

as long as you get the GL-4 Mobil 1... the GL-5 stuff decreases synchro life, from what i've researched. however, it is a very thick oil and may cause notchy or hard shifting when cold...

i personally am using and loving the Redline MT90. really helped out with a 3rd gear grind i was having in my car...

factory Honda is always good for daily use.

motor oil is last resort, and should be avoided...
You're right - I have no idea what I'm talking about...

yes, it is too thick and does not have the proper friction coefficient, especially in a worn out transmission...

    Redline MT90 ftw.

summit racing sells it, as do most race shops.

auto parts stores don't sell it. just google redline, and look on their website for dealers.
