    Default 94 B18 LS Auto Swap into a 94 Auto Del Sol NEED HELP WITH WIRING THE TCM/TCU

    i did a auto swap, i put a 94 auto ls swap into a 94 auto del sol. i didnt know about the the fact that a del sol does not have a tcm and that now i need to some how wire a tcm into the del sol to have it shift properly. is there some sort of adapter that i can buy? or do i have to manually wire it? where do i start???

    Start by taking that trans out.. And put a Manual trans in it.

    Its true,...DONT DO IT! i tried, yes you do have to wire it manually. I went with a B16 manual, its not worth the trouble.....

    the TCM is integrated into the harness and ecu. it has an abundance of sensors that will need to be wired for' if you depin the un necessaru parts and pull the ecu hanress and replace with a 94-95 teg AUTO harness you will be fine. there is one plug (6 pin) that has to be wired for.

    i have been looking for this thread. the tcm IS separate. sorry for the confusion. the teg firewall hanress has the tcm (p78) on the drivers side. looking for the pinout for the pas few weeks. i wired mine manuall.y

    about to upload info on the TCm. acura has nothing other than parts on their computers. all electrical referances must come from the service techs books. you will get to view a few pages here shortly.

    i believe this is everyhting. i dont know the bare necessities of what has to be wired. but mine functions well.
