    Default WTF compression question

i have an ls swap in an eg i put the motor in and it ran on three cyl. so i checked compression and low on #1 so i take my head to the machine shop put some valves in it and milled the head. i put the head back on and no start at all less compression then when i started on all 4 cyl now. would the adj on the valves be out now? i cant get a feeler gauge in between the rocker and the cam so any imput would be rad.

if you can't get the feeler gauge in, your valve lash is way too tight, and that is probably the cause of your lower compression. adjust the valves.

however, was there a bent or bad valve in the head? you cold have bad rings causing the low compression... did you do a dry and a wet test before you condemned the head?
You're right - I have no idea what I'm talking about...

    Used head gasket or new?
