Yea people with a budget, which is mre than half, kseries is not recommended, people dnt got money to be rebuilding NEW transmissions. Not worth it, and for bseries trannys never heard problems. As long as u maintain them they will last forever

So the solution is to continue doing b and h series swaps 5,10,15,20+years from now??????? At what point do u SAVE AND BE PATIENT for something better????? I waited a year+ getting parts together for my k swap. You cant tell me noone else cant do the same. Yea i could've did a b series turbo or h2b swap, but honestly i like keeping up with the lastest technology available for our cars. Meaning the next letter motor "M,V or whatever" i'm gonna do that swap. If ur waiting for k series to be the SAME price as h or series swaps and parts, then u'll be waiting another 5 years and by then honda will have their next "swapable" motor out and u'll still be talking about doing a k series motor. LOL!

Dont want a corvette now just b/c i can get it. I rather SAVE more money and get the Z06!,even if it takes 1-2 more years cause in the end, i'll be more satisfied knowing i have the car that has more potential then the one i could've just "settleed" for.

I just wish ppl would stop making the k series sound like its a leg and a arm to swap/build like it was 5 years ago. I know plenty of guys who have rebuilt their turbo b series 3-5 times over! And they dont use ebay kits, meaning the shit is expensive to keep rebuilding b series turbo builds so y not take that same expense to the k series realm?

Maybe he doesnt want to save for some odd years for ALL the K parts... When he could simply do the H2B in hmm.. lets say a few months of saving..

And What people? I have friends with K swaps also.. I know about ALL swaps.. and the H would seem BETTER for a person thats not trying to collect parts forever!

I'll do a K in one of my hatches in the future when K prices are normal and super cheap. Availability and technology bring prices down over the years. Especially with honda bringing out K's in full force. As far as bang for buck most of the hype that you're gonna make 220 wheel on a stock type s motor is now out in the light as a fallacy. But it is the next big thing in honda engines. It doesn't mean that all older engines are lesser archaic pieces of garbage that can't make power. A good B will still rock a k's world for much less money. But the K is gaining speed and is the next B series swap in about 5 years in my eyes.

Yes a "good"(highly built) B will rock a STOCK K series world. And in 5(MORE) years yea the K prices will be SUPER cheap cause they already are that way! So i guess they'll be just RIDCULOSLY cheap! PPL with NO PATIENCE will spend A LOT of money on a k swap, but its funny how mine is FULLY built top to bottom(mainstream building it now) yet in ALL I've only spent $6k and thats WITH Mainstream Labor AND I DO MEAN FULLY built!

5 years from now will equal about 10+ years the "k swaps" have been around. I'm sure that while ppl are "waiting" for the "prices to drop even more" that Honda will have the next Big motor out and k series will be like a d series is to a b series now. And then ppl will be like "well a good k will still rock a(whatever letter)world
