I want to know the proper way to lower/slam a car to the ground.

if you want to do it right spend some money. no lowering springs, no ebay coilovers, no cut or heated springs on stock struts.

Fully adj coilovers is the way to go
theres plently of brands to choose from

but bang for the buck GC coilovers with kyb AGXs, or konis, or tokico

my old civic wiith fully adj omni powers on the rear, tokico blues with GC coilovers on the frt.
with 16 slips and i can could of gone down 2 more inches if i wanted to.
tuckin rim in the back. and about the same on the front

So to make the car 100% driveable at a lower stance then all I need are coilovers and shocks? Are there any more parts that will help with handling?

and yes for a start. the only coilover sleeve type i trust are ground controls. bc you can get them at different spring rate or your choice.
and the struts are a personal thing, youll just have to go through them to see which ones you like the best.

a camber kit and a sway bar kit as well.

and dnt forget about extended top hats that are out there to help with the life of your struts, and the rebound of them. you can find these on ebay, or GC
