boiling in overflow reservoir

i think i read somewhere that a bad headgasket will cause this.. i may be wrong

That's what my old sedan engine was doing when I bought it, bubbles all the time. Turns out it was obvious after I thought about it. It was compression being blown into the coolant system all the time. I'd be afraid to take it on a long drive.
