Ideally you need an lsvtec kit, comes with all required hardware,headgasket, offset dowels and sandwich plate...they are usually in the area of 220$... then you need a head which is 400 ish, and an ecu either needs to be chipped, or run a vtec ecu, plus necessary wiring,plugs, and the cost of swapping heads.

If your budget is 450 and under, this is not for you. I would recommend fixing what you have. If you have in the area of 1000+ to pay someone, parts and labor. Then this is for you..
