    Default 92 civic BOGS BAD..HELP

    okay 92 four door, bogs, got fuel, beautiful spark, and new plugs.

    its an automatic, car bogs from idle, will slowly get better but will eventually die.

    TPS??

    i need help from those with experience, please explain too, knowledge is so useful.

    Mine pretty much does the same thing. But with mine when I accelerate & hit maybe 1500 rpm's it does it. Then clears up. It does this maybe 2-3 times a day. I replaced fuel pump, fuel filter, new spark plugs/wires & did the seafoam additive. Still does it but not as bad. My catalytic converter rattles (heat sheild) & has a leak around it. I'm thinking my catalytic converter is clogged up causing this to happen.

    So try checking your catalytic converter. I've read on other forums & they have described both of issues & it turned out to to be a bad cat.

    GUYS JUS TO HELP, IT BOGS FROM IDLE, WHEN U PUT IT IN GEAR THE LOAD OF THE CAR KILLS THE MOTOR.... trying to get this running today

    okay i unbolted the catalytic converter, it ran ALOT BETTER buttt, not getting the power i need, especially in reverse, the motor feels like it has to power up before the car will start to move

    its not a misfire, its not the trans??!! , iacv had correct resistence.....

    here i go again tps and map? bout to check them, remember no cels


    and wen i drive the car in gear from a stop the motor stuggles to turn but once it starts it eventually moves...(i believe the motor is not turning the torque converter fast enough to move the car when its under a load)

    TPS .52v , then open throttle 4.48v

    the tps is good

    i think its supposed to be .50 wot 5.00 i belive
