So you get an ultimate "misfire" which would cause bogging. A map sensor is sort of the same situation except it measures pressure in the intake manifold not throttle percentage. Yeah I have no "CEL" on, unless the previous owner tampered with the plug on the back side of the cluster & disconnected it. I bought a new fuel filter for it today, just haven't had the time to swap it out yet or check to see if the "CEL" has been disconnected.
